The Haus Edit

Privacy Choices

Manage local project information, camera permission, support correspondence, and Apple-managed privacy settings.

On-device choices

Control local project data.

The current beta stores project information locally on the user's device rather than in a Haus of Zimmerman cloud account.

Delete a project

Use the available project deletion control in The Haus Edit and confirm the deletion. Review the project first because support may not be able to restore locally deleted information.

Remove app data

Delete local projects through available in-app controls. Deleting the app may also remove its local app container, subject to Apple backup and restoration behavior.

Protect the device

Use a device passcode, review backup settings, and store independent copies of important measurements, product details, and reports.

Device permission

Change camera access.

Open the iOS Settings app, locate The Haus Edit in the app list, and turn camera permission on or off. Turning it off prevents room scanning that requires camera access. Manual measurement features may remain available, depending on the current build.

Messages sent to us

Request access or deletion.

Email and support messages are voluntary. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of correspondence previously sent to Haus of Zimmerman, email REPLACE_WITH_SUPPORT_EMAIL. Include enough information to locate the message, but do not send sensitive identifying information unless requested through a secure method.

We may retain information when required or permitted for legal, security, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes.

Apple-managed information

Use Apple settings.

Apple controls privacy choices for Apple ID, App Store, TestFlight, device analytics, diagnostics, purchases, backups, and restoration. Manage those choices in Apple account, TestFlight, and device settings.
